Multiple Grammy winning guitarist, arranger, and member of Snarky Puppy. I specialize in mixing genres; I studied jazz and funk, but I grew up on rock. I'm into punk, hip-hop, country, mariachi--you name it I've done the deep listening and I love to recreate different sounds. I also arrange for string sections, string quartet, and horns.
Always searching for a challenge of expression, Samantha lends her creative voice to a wide variety of projects. Worlds for the listener to be surrounded by and get lost in as they listen to the colors flow and morph around them. I'm an experienced pop session harpist (electric + pedal harp) as well as a songwriter/collaborator. For many years I've worked with Jarvis Cocker on 'Jarv Is' and tv film soundtrack work and am a founder member of post-punk experimental pop quartet Bas Jan (Fire Records).
