I am a Recording Artist, Producer, Audio-Engineer, and Songwriter that goes by the name of "Notebook." Doing these lines of work for 17 years, I continue to grow & enhance my skills to this day. I have been privileged to let my work shine on MANY artists' projects [also my own] and I hope to be able to do the same for even more musicians.

I've written on different album styles, along with doing vocals and things but my concentration is lyrical content. I tend to write with a sense of transparency, so you can get the most out of the song, tailoring it to your own style.

I'm an award winning Producer/Mixer/Guitarist from Canada. I've won an East Coast Music Award for an album I produced, mixed, mastered and performed on (guitar, organ, drum programming). Jonathan Blair is a composer from San Diego, California. He studied composition at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and Musicology at the University of South Africa. He has collaborated with some of the most important artist today, including Magdalene Minnaar, Ben Schoeman, Vasti Knoesen, Carla Ferriera, and Mikhael Subotzky.

For some time now, I have been creating songs (I write lyrics and make the melody) that I am commissioned by people who are looking for an original gift for a relative, partner or friend. They tell me the story they want to convey, and I make a song about it.
