Hello! My name is Giancarlo Castro (a.k.a. Kastropolis) and I am an electronic music producer and mixing engineer.
I'm an NYC based singer-songwriter, specifically in R&B/Pop. I also have experience in vocal production as I mix and master my tracks on my own.
Worked with a 3-time Emmy nominee composer, Sheldon Mirowitz. Worked as a composer/arranger for Mistheria (Bruce Dickinson, Roy-Z) for his new Vivaldi Metal Project album. My goal, in whatever I do, is to compose to a project (as opposed to style) and to be able to make the audience forget the outside world for a brief moment.
The goal of the mix engineer should be to enhance the experience the artist is creating with their music. No matter what your vision is as a producer, performing musician, or film maker, I will give your art the polish and attention to detail it deserves to make it big.
I specialize in R&B, pop, blues and rock guitar (both rhythm and lead). I love making guitar stacks and recording different textures of guitar. I provide guitar recordings that are ready to go, with very little mixing required. Looking forward to hearing from you!
