Hi, My name is Jason Meekins and I am a session drummer from Austin, Texas. I've been playing drums for over 20 year and I have been recording drums from my home studio for the past 12 years. I use Logic Pro X, have excellent mics and use API and Neve pre amps. I play Paiste cymbals and Pearl drums! I'd love the opportunity to drum on your song!

I am currently the drummer for Bush, but I have toured and recorded with Andy Grammer, Bishop Briggs, Youngblood Hawke, Puddle of Mudd, Emily Osment, Iglu & Hartly, Ty Taylor and many more. I love tracking drums at my studio, doing what is needed for each song, with high quality tones and sounds crafted specifically for each track.

Behind the kit and driving the groove, I’m a drummer fueled by rhythm and instinct. I play full-time in a band, where I bring raw energy, dynamics, and musical intuition to every stage we step on. Offstage, I’ve worked as a session drummer, lending my style and versatility to studio recordings across genres.

I have worked with Siouxsie Sioux, Peter Gabriel, Loreena McKennitt, Goldfrapp, Laura Pausini, Simple Minds, Miles Kane, Modern English, Coati Mundi, Michel Polnareff, Andy Partridge & Colin Moulding (XTC).
