Hi, My name is Jason Meekins and I am a session drummer from Austin, Texas. I've been playing drums for over 20 year and I have been recording drums from my home studio for the past 12 years. I use Logic Pro X, have excellent mics and use API and Neve pre amps. I play Paiste cymbals and Pearl drums! I'd love the opportunity to drum on your song!

All I need from you is an mp3 of your song with any instructions you have on drums. It would be best if your song is recorded to a metronome. If it isn't I can play right along with you and still hold a very steady and tasty groove. My rate is budget friendly and I usually deliver in 24-48hours.

I will send you a stereo mix wav file of my drums for your song, or I can send you each individual mic chanel (13 total) for you or your engineer to mix in your studio environment.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I use Logic Pro X, Shure Mics, Warm Audio and Neve Preamps. I play Pearl Masters drums and Paiste cymbals. I have an arsenal of snare drums in my studio that range in size from a 4 x 14 A&F brass snare to my custom 6.5 x 16 birch snare drum.

A: I've been playing for over 25 years both in the studio and on the road. I bring experience, groove, and feel to a song. I support the lyrics and music from the drum chair.

A: My typical work process starts with listening to the clients tracks and then talking with the client to get an understanding of their vision for the track. Then i record 2 takes to send to the client for review before sending individual wav files.
