Hi! My name is Ollie Childs and I've been a singer songwriter for 20 years. I've been very fortunate to have worked with some incredible artists such as John Keeble (Spandau Ballet) Ben Taylor, Russell Hitchcock (Air Supply) and have recorded in some incredible studios including Wessex in Highbury North London, also used by Queen and Pink Floyd
Moved to San Diego from New England in 2013, and I've worked at Phaser Control for 2 years. Originally a guitarist/singer and having led a band for 5 years, my roots are set in instrumental composition and songwriting. But I am passionate about electronic elements & genres as well. Bodda plays a huge variety of percussion instruments from all around the world and many musical styles with different cultural backgrounds and genres such as; Electronic, Dance, House, Arabic, African, Latin, Flamenco, Oriental Jazz and Chill-out. Which making him one of the most complete multi-percussionists in the entire region.
My foray into professional songwriting and production has opened doors to work with chart- topping producers like Get Cool, Blac Elvis, Makeeba Riddick, and Andre Ellis. I've also performed on stages and composed for award winning artist such as Stevie Wonder, Barry Manilow, The Jonas Brothers, and Justin Bieber.
I am a musician first and foremost. I take my musicality into each and every aspect of song creation: writing, recording, production, mixing, and mastering. Every step is treated with an attention to detail, and a creative ear. I am not a cookie cutter producer, I treat each project as unique to itself and so strive to find the sound it needs.
