Haptós is a word that comes from ancient Greek and refers to haptic perception, that is, perception through the active exploration of the sense of touch. We have decided to use this name because, after more than 15 years dedicated to sound, we are convinced that it is the best way to describe our relationship with sounds.
I am a classically trained audio engineer and music producer with experience in the hard rock/metal and dance music industry. My works have released on Atlantic Records, Universal Music Group, Ultra Records, Insomniac Records, OWSLA, Dim Mak, Buygore, Subsidia, Proximity, Sumerian Records, Tragic Hero Records, Facedown records.
I have professional experiences/skills in several different genres (classical, electronic, alternative and different popular music styles). I have taken part in a number of art productions and been member of orchestras, bands (symphonic, psychedelic rock, alternative, experimental electronic, folk music, EDM, reggae) as a performer and/or producer.
Award-winning Film Composer and Orchestrator with a M.M. In Screen Scoring from NYU, and student of Marcelo Zarvos. I write music that is driven by memorable melodies and backed by a blend of rich orchestral and electronic elements.
