I am a professional Brazilian drummer and percussionist since 2006. I am a professor at the Federal University of Goias, in the countryside of Brazil, teaching drums and ensemble practice. I have recorded several albums of Brazilian music, mainly Brazilian jazz, but also more traditional styles such as samba, baião, bossa-nova, among others.
Music was always “my thing” growing up. When my brothers were asking for toys for Christmas, I asked for instruments. That eventually led me to my master’s degree on trumpet and touring on drums in a band for a couple of decades. I was then inspired to go to recording school, and now stand in awe of the talent I get to work with each day!
I’m a Hip-Hop and RNB audio engineer from Toronto and recent graduate from Harris Institute in Toronto for Audio Engineering/ Music Production. I have experience working in the live sound field as well as a recording studio environment. As of late I'm currently looking to earn as much experience recording/mixing in a studio; perfecting
