Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: Where to start? Where to start? I uploaded some samples to this profile of stuff I like that I have done over the years.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: Just finishing up three different female artists full length albums. Two of the artists its their first releases and the other is her sophomore release. There are a few others single songs and mixes sprinkled in right now.

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

A: Probably but I haven't looked yet.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Both... cuz it's not the gear it's the ear. I love to paint with different brushes and textures.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: I will try my hardest to make us both very proud of our work together.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: Creating creative stuff creatively.

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: Can you hook me up with "so n so"? My answer depends on many things.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: That I am just a studio and I just record audio.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Hire Me! I won't let you regret it.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: Laptop, Headphones, killer mic pre, Interface, Keyboard controller

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: Since 1991.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Punchy, Tight and in your face.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: Producer Max Martin because everything he writes and produces charts.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: If you don't have a great song then you don't have much.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: Everything

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: I am a strong producer who wears most hats needed with an ear for what makes a hit song.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: Try me and find out! I dare ya.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: It all starts with the song. Nothing happens until we have a great song or songs to work with.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: Pro Tools HD 3 TDM System, tons of Tube and SS Mic Pres, a large Mic collection several guitars and amps and lots of samples and plug ins.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: So much inspires me! I just LOVE music.If I had to pick just a handful of biggies I guess they would be Michael Jackson, Prince, Stevie Wonder, Chris Lord Alge, Bruce Swedien, Max Martin and Serban Ghenea.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: The majority of projects I do involve me as producer. I find that I am asked to write or co-write songs for almost every project I produce. I work with every genre but seem to be known most for radio ready commercial POP/Rock/R&B/Country. You can listen to samples of my production from several different genres on this profile.
