I have played in musical scenarios such as musicals, session recordings, jazz bands, symphonic orchestras, and chamber ensembles. I have been a musician in various ensembles under world-renowned musicians such as Ted Sperling, Dr. Jason Noble, Paul Cohen, and more.
Drawing from a wide and diverse spectrum of influences, I blend steady, disco-infused grooves with a plethora of both live and electronic instrumentation including ambient synthesisers, pulsing electric piano and layered vocal stacks to create my own brand of sunny bedroom pop, designed to be both minimalistic and euphoric in equal measure.
Charlie specializes in variety - he's band leader for Parker McCollum, has a doctorate in classical piano performance, produces and mixes pop records, and writes and arranges for all sorts of ensembles.
