Hello, my name is Michael Candido and I'm a freelance Producer/Mixer. I started mixing in 1998 and over the years taught myself as well as sought the aid of many highly acclaimed engineers who became my mentors' over the years for their different skill sets. My approach to music is highly dependent on the material of the band and the track itself.
I am an international freelance producer/audio engineer/songwriter. I've worked with clients not only from the USA but from places like Finland, Australia, Italy, France, Brazil, Sweden, & etc...
Residing in Brooklyn, playing music, mixing songs and videos. I studied at the NYU Clive Davis Institute For Recorded Music and at Banff Centre For Arts and Creativity. I am a sensitive listener, a critical thinker, and a problem solver.
Besides being a freelance engineer I'm also a percussionist, I dabble on the guitar, and I like to compose. I also live with Alexis and our three dogs, cat, and fish.
