I am a multi-genre producer, mixing/mastering engineer, and multi-instrumentalist. My focus is on Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, and EDM. I also do voice acting and copy-reading. I'm a veteran composer, arranger, producer, musical director and saxophonist, having earned 3 Grammy Awards and 14 Grammy nominations over four decades. I made my first record as a leader in 1968--at age twenty. The number of my solo recordings now stands at 35.

I love to experiment and create sounds that are truly original, while still respecting the pop guidelines when it comes to songwriting and arrangement. I work out of Jan Smith Studios in Atlanta, GA.
