Professional guitarist with more than 15 years of experience in both live and studio. John Marvin Scott is one of Vancouver's up and coming studio/session guitarists. He is actively working in the live performance industry in a wide variety of genres, and he is also composing/writing his own music. John is well educated in the music industry, having a music diploma from Red Deer College, and a BA in Jazz Performance from Capilano U.
I can write and perform a high quality and meaningful song quickly. I'm also a trained dancer so rhythm and inspiration come very naturally to me and are integral to my process, I believe you have to feel a song in your whole body, not just hear it. I am very passionate in my work, I strive for creativity and emotion.
