A graduate of the acclaimed Frost School of Music, Reed Gaines majored in music engineering and technology. While there, Reed quickly became one of the go-to recording engineers for the on campus recording facilities, and familiarized himself with the pro equipment there. Since then, Reed has mixed, tracked, or played bass on countless projects.
I'm a professional guitarist based out of Raleigh, NC currently touring with pop-country artist Dakota Hood. I've done session work for many singer-songwriters in Miami, Los Angeles, and Raleigh, as well as performed with hit pop duo R. City. Found an interest in music at the age of 12 (listening to mostly metal/grunge at the time) learned to play guitar, and soon after stumbling across Tribe's "Low End Theory" album, quickly invested in Hip Hop and started Producing/mixing. Began experimenting with a demo of FL studio, sampling mostly old dusty vinyl jazz LPs.
