I am a Cuban bassist living in Italy, who has played on several albums and singles by artists around the world like (I'm Here with the singer-songwriter Daniela Bessia, Marginales.com by Aceituna sin Hueso, Inner Life Burst, Luis Coelho's album)

Alex Rocha is a session upright and electric bass player based in Rio de Janeiro. He got a Latin Grammy Award for his contribution on singer Emílio Santiago's live CD "Só Danço Samba ao vivo" , winner on 2012. Alex can play in many styles like Bossa Nova, Latin, Jazz, Smooth Jazz, Samba, R'n'B, Rock, Funk, and many more.

With more than 30 years experience as a Classical, Jazz, Latin, and almost all of the genres included in the spectrum of popular music, my background as a Double Bass and Electric Bass player will add the special touch and groove that only the bass can give to your song. I am a Brazilian guitarist, bassist, and arranger. I have recorded and produced albums that feature collaborations with musicians such as André Mehmari, Jaques Morelenbaum, Teco Cardoso, and Carol Panesi. As an instrumentalist, I carry diverse musical influences that span Rock and Roll, Brazilian Popular Music (MPB), Jazz, and Classical Music.
