I am a Nashville-based bass player that has played on several platinum albums and singles as well as Grammy and Emmy winning songs. I love my job, and I hope that it is evident in my playing.

Hi! I'm Steven and my production company is Fireheart Productions. I started playing music when I was 14, playing bass in a hardcore band. From there I learned drums, sound engineering, guitar, singing, and production. I worked at a popular studio here in California for quite some time, and learned a lot working with different types of artists.

Experienced Acoustic Artist who specializes in session and live mandolin, banjo, and acoustic guitar, and as a side note I am the only Black Bluegrass Mandolinist who has his own band: B.K. Nicholson & Desperado
