I'm an avid singer with 7 years of formal training under my belt. During my senior year of high school I was accepted into all 4 honor choirs offered (including county, both state, and country level choirs)
Hi my name is Juan Cruz Schipizza AKA J XAN, independent artist, mixing and mastering engineer!
Worked with international artists such as Haedie one, Kenzie, Mata, anastazja Maciąg and many more.
No Grammys, no millions of plays on Spotify, no 25+ years experience in the industry... I'm just an amateur who's been producing music as a hobby for something like 10 years, and I think I've gotten pretty decent at it.
Classic Hip-Hop / LoFi / Boom Bap mixing & mastering — punchy drums, warm low-end and clean vocals, 100% in-the-box.
I love "not shiny" pop and Indie mixture, refined sounding music with extra personality. I'm inspired by Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Adele, The Weeknd and more. I use keys, synths, guitars, bass and drums in a broad range from intimate singer-songwriter to soft hitting pop landscapes. Whatever serves the song best.
