Hey, I am a freelance audio engineer and musician from New York. I studied and graduated from the Institute of Audio Research where I earned a certificate in Audio Production & Engineering and will be continuing my studies at SUNY Purchase College in the Fall.

I am a songwriter, both in music and lyrics in English and Spanish. I am also a sessionist as a singer, electric guitar, acoustic and Spanish, electric bass, piano and synthesizers. My last years I was dedicated to music production and mixing works, developing my abilities beyond my role as a composer and interpreter.

I'm Mike Hinton, I have 25 year's experience in the industry, previously working for The Decca Recording Co. and The Exchange Mastering Studios. I set up MSTRD back in 2015 and have been working with some great artists and labels since.
