My name is Kara Ali and I am a singer/songwriter living in New York City. I specialize in session vocals and songwriting and have worked with various bands in collaboration and on my own projects. My work has ranged from background to lead vocals to writing songs for movie soundtracks and web series'.

I am a calm and focused acoustic and electro harpist, comfortable in classical, hip hop, folk and improvisation. I read charts and sheet music fluently and love coming up with my own ideas. I co-write songs with my band Bentu and have contributed harp to tracks by Ruti, Deacon, Tertia May, Ranagri, Subculture, Kalaido, Kate Curran and many more.
