I've been into sound since I was 16, that's just under a decade now. I started recording demos for my first band and local bands in the area. I went on to study Music Technology in University and graduated 1st class. I than moved on to work in Temple Lane studios in Ireland as runner and than became fully fledged freelance engineer.
The secret of a great sound engineer is being able to hear a raw tape, then in your mind, hear what it could sound like, and know what knobs to move to make it sound that way.
