My name is Mattie Safer, I'm a singer, songwriter and producer based in Brooklyn NY. I used to play bass and sing in the band The Rapture, recording 2 albums and an EP, including Pitchfork's 2003 album of the year "Echoes." Since then I've been working as a solo artist and songwriter, signing a recording/publishing deal with Paul Epworth (producer of Adele, Florence & The Machine, etc.) and featuring as a guest vocalist on tracks for artists like PBR Streetgang, Uffie, Tiefschwarz, Beni and Blende.
