Endorse Michael BiancanielloMichael is my go to for any kind of production work I need. He always goes above and beyond and does an amazing job every time!
Definitely considering hiring Michael for your next project. He is very passionate about what he does, and it shows in the high quality of consistent work he delivers day in and day out.
I would definitely recommend Michael for anybody who wants high quality, radio ready production. His work speaks for itself, and he's also a great guy. Five stars for sure!
Michael is a true industry professional. Him and I have worked together on several projects, and I am always impressed with how clean his tracks sound. Each mix is fat and slamming, while still retaining the clarity of each individual part. I highly recommend him!
Interview with Michael Biancaniello
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise that I will always deliver a product that either meets or exceeds your expectations and to always be fair with my pricing and upfront about time frames.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: My friend and absolutely amazing guitarist Lonny Eagleton is on here. He will absolutely shred your face off.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Yes. Because.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I make music for a living!
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I would say that most people these days drastically underestimate the amount of work, attention and time that goes into three and a half minutes of audio. These jobs (production jobs), when done correctly, can be and are usually are liken to painting a school bus with a q-tip. Luckily for you, Im extremely experienced and have acquired a paintbrush!
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I guess it depends on the client. I usually like to know what kind of music / sound they like/are looking for. Im very good with references so I like to contrast and compare.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: I would make sure that they have worked on projects that you feel are of the quality you desire, and to hire someone who has extensive experience and skill in their field.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My Laptop, my interface, my guitar, my microphone and my midi controller. (as long as their chords dont count as pieces of gear!!)
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been "in the music business" ever since I can remember. My father, Louis Biancaniello, is an extremely accomplished music producer/songwriter who has been making hits since the 90's. Growing up in that environment pretty much guaranteed that I too would fall prey to a passion for music. I have been doing this professionally since about 2008
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I would describe what I naturally do as a usually chill vibe that often features quirky sounds and guitars.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with ColdPlay because I have always loved them and looked up to their song writing. As someone who has made most of their living writing emotional pop songs, there is a lot there to really knock some socks off.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Often times, especially in pop music: "stupider" is "betterrer."
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: These days I an doing a lot of urban and pop.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Production
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I am a producer/ beat maker and I have very strong sense of melody/topline.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Typically I spend 2-3 days out of the week writing, then during the rest of the week, I will go back and finish each song one at a time. I like to get the vocal sounding almost perfect before I move onto the track, as I believe that (most of the time) the vocal is what REALLY needs to shine and I don't want to over produce the track too early!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have both a mobile laptop rig as well as a full studio
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I feel that I am constantly being inspired by new music coming out. It is especially hard not to be inspired these days considering just how much music is being released on streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music. I am finding myself overwhelmed by new and familiar talents alike!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: My days are mostly filled with starting and finishing full songs and productions. I would say the majority of my time gets taken up by vocal production.

I will allow as many revisions as necessary within reason. My priority is quality work! My turn-around time is varied depending on what the project is. Costs also vary.
