Recording, mixing and mastering engineer with a passion for production.
Hi!
I am a sound engineer, producer and musician who lives in Lincoln in the UK.
Originally from Germany I have been known to often turn 'problem' recordings into professional sounding products and even see this as a challenge at times.
I use a hybrid studio setup of analogue and digital gear and tend to include a mixing desk for summing purpose and to run tracks through outboard compressors and equalisers.
I might propose some production ideas that might include percussion, keyboards or even the odd backing vocals into the mixing process when I see a need to compliment a production.
I have worked with a variety of indie rock, acoustic and jazz artists and also did some label work (Jake Cussack's Funky Dog label) and am new here to the online mixing community.
I have also assisted renown producers like Ger McDonnell (U2, The Cure), Michael Zimmerling (Simply Red, Marc Almond) and John Porter (The Smith) as a recording engineer in the past.
Recently I have been mixing a bunch of synthwave and even hip hop and rap related music.
