Working with some of the best songwriters and producers in Los Angeles, Scottish singer/songwriter Ryan Curtis is making moves in the industry. Known for his unique vocal tone, lyrical concepts and vocal production Ryan is on the radar for many major publishers after being scouted by Jason Derulo's team FutureHistory.
Born and raised in the farm lands in Scotland all of his life, Ryan Curtis is an emerging singer/songwriter honing his abilities for the last 2 years doing sessions all around LA, flying back and forth from London but now permanently living in Los Angeles after being granted his O-1 Visa.
Coming from Scotland, Ryan lived in the middle of nowhere, without a music studio in sight, so he took it upon himself to learn how to record, sing, mix, write and take a product from start to finish. Being in an undisturbed location with endless amounts of creativity Ryan utilized his skills and brought them to LA. Ryan's natural sound is pop-rnb influenced, but ranges from indie, to acoustic to edm or straight pop. He doesn't see music as one sole genre, only an opportunity to make his audience feel and connect in as many ways as possible.
He has since written with artists such as Olivia O’Brien, Shawn Hook, Bazzi, Madison Beer, Leroy Sanchez, IYAZ, Matt White, Jack & Jack, Jasmine Villegas & more. With the recent release of Jasmine V's comeback single "Devil Wears Prada" to asian star Jannine Weigel single "Deep End".
Ryan is also working and developing artists, notably Tribes a female singer/songwriter who has caught the interest of BabyFace and currently in the studio preparing and writing songs for Tribes debut project.
Ryan strives to keep creating story-telling music.
