2NATURAL and I created a crazy song together. They really gave me the creative freedom to do my thing and they were the most talented producers I've worked with in a long time on SB. Please don't hesitate to work with them on your next project. Their sounds and professionalism is a 10/10 from me! They have a really good hit song ear. Can't wait to do more!
Working with 2NATURAL has been one of the most valuable experiences I have ever had. Not only is he a great source of knowledge, but his workflow is also efficient and reliable. 2NATURAL will improve your productions and give you solid advice on how to improve your sound. His production skillset is off the charts, and I have no doubts that he will soon reach the upper echelon of producers in the current EDM scene.
An absolute production genius. Have worked together closely before and can confirm he will take your track to another level
can do anything, loved working with him
Interview with 2NATURAL
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I am a people person! I could sit here and describe my proficiency in knowing what certain knobs do on certain plugins, but my true strong skills come from being a diplomatic individual. Even if a client is unsatisfied, I work diligently to ensure they are receiving what they asked for.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: My career path was and is making music. I have been doing this for 6 years now.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I would say I put the feel of nostalgia into my tracks.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: The Kid Laroi. I feel as if though combining his vocal style and ideas with a pop/edm record would be super fun to work on.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Be you. Write a story. We are creatives in a vast world of dullness. If you have the ability to express feelings, emotions, or thoughts through a piece of art, do it to your best ability!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I find myself working mostly on EDM however, especially recently, I have been taking up a lot of projects that are non-EDM, such as some Indie Pop or even RnB.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Emotion. Anybody can learn how to make an EDM song, or sound design using Serum, but I believe a much harder skill within the music production realm is being able to create emotions.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I normally start out on the guitar. When someone brings me an idea that they would like produced, 9/10 times I will begin to write a chord progression on the guitar. I do not necessarily utilize the guitar in production if specially requested not to do so. From there, I begin to layer in the other elements of the song, making sure that each one compliments the other, and cannot live without the other.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I currently use Yamaha HS5s with a Scarlett 18i8 and a Shure SM7B. Instruments wise I have a D'Angelico Premier DC, along with a Taylor acoustic guitar. I engineer on an i7 11th gen based computer on Ableton Live 11 and ProTools utilizing plugins such as but not limited to SoundToys, Serum, Omnisphere, Addictive Keys, Guitar Rig, Fab Filter products, Spire, Massive, Kontakt, and much more.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Ian Kirkpatrick, Dabin, ILLENIUM, DJ Swivel, Said the Sky, Ellis, Grant... I could sit here and name names all day.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most of the time, I am asked to either produce a song for a vocalist/songwriter, or I am asked to re-drop/redo a certain section of a song that another producer will bring to me.
