Producer,Mix Engineer, Session/Live Player/Artist living the dream with my family in Nashville. I love hearing where the track starts as an idea and helping bring it to life with production! Taking it to the next level, giving it life, adding the right things to help set the emotion of a song and get it where it feels perfect for you, the artist!
I'm in a band called Leeland, and also play with a few other bands/artist like Cody Carnes, Kari Jobe... I also write/record for TV/Film, and work on my own music as "prospekt" I live in Nashville with my wife and family of 3. Mostly track guitars and keys/synths, acoustic, and bass. I love taking someones idea and turning it into something really special however simple or complex that may be. Music is life.
I've recording for artists/producers like Kari Jobe, Cody Carnes, Passion, Elevation Worship, Cece Winans, Michael W. Smith, Bethel Music, Jason Upton, Fleurie, Phil Wickham, Audrey, Normies, Ed Cash, Vertical Worship, Leeland.

Casey knows what he is doing! Love his work. He gave the exact feel to my tracks as I wanted. Very talented!
Casey is a world class musician and producer. I've had the privilege of having his work on some of my projects and have traveled with him as well. Both live and in the studio, this guy delivers. Consistent, creative, out of the box, and always tasteful. The best.
Interview with Casey Moore
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Our band Leeland’s last studio album, Invisible. And Kari Jobe upcoming album, Got to work with a dream team of a band and got to create something that I hope will inspire many on a musical and spiritual level.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: A live record, a pop ep. every week is different though!
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Brenton Miles is one of my closest friends and he’s an amazing producer, singer, songwriter.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both! Why limit ourselves?? We need it all!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: They will leave with exactly what they want and that I can exceed any expectations.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: That’s it’s not a job. It’s so much fun and I can’t belive I get to do it for a living.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: If I can help them finish the idea they have in their head when they can’t quite describe what they actually want. We can go through the process together.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That it may be too expensive, but I always try to meet the artist budget where they leave with a product they love and with a great value.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: How I can serve them best.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: High Expectations :)
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Ac30, delay pedal, strat. An anolog synth and headphones.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Been in a band called Leeland for almost 9 years now playing guitar, singing, and writing.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I like everything :)
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Too many to list. I love working with everyone.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Very basic, but don’t overdo anything. It’s easy to over compress, put too much effect on a track. Keep it simple and make art.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, CCM, alternative
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Well I guess melodies are what inspire the most.. whatever I can do to creative something that will stick and leave an impression, not just a filler but always something beautiful.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I don’t like to limit myself with boxes so really the sky is the limit. Nothing we can do!
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Obviously getting the vision from the artist for their music and what they want it to sound like and what they want to say with it.. one of my favorite things is making a song come alive and exceeding expectations of the artist.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Neumann monitors, 18’ Apple Desktop, UAD Apollo quad twin. Lots of guitars, bass, acoustics, Synths
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Lots of friends here in Nashville that have been crushing the game for a long time. It would take too long to list everyone that inspires me! But as far as bands go I love the sounds from Coldplay, U2, Killers, Death Can, Bon Iver, The Eagles, Tame Impala, Queen, Boxer Rebellion, Eisley, Loud Harp, Andrew Bell, Switchfoot, Matt Kearney, Thad Cockrell
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: 75% of my work is tracking for CCM/Worship music since my background is in Christian Music, but I also write, and produce pop, folk, rock and alternative genres.
I was the producer/writer/mix/player in this production
