Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: We'll take care in a natural way of their music as it was our music.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Urban (Hip hop, soul/r&b rock, pop, electro pop, trap, reggaeton) and electronic music. We can bring a different feel on rock and pop music as well, translating unpredictable mixing techniques as well.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: ITB mainly, using Pro Tools and Nuendo.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Being a team, we can handle (each specialty to its specailist) mixing, mastering and (post) production with special tricks and effects for Hip Hop, Electronica and "urban sound" in general, with a particular attention to vocal mix, transients, low end and overall sound character, that has to be absolutely recognizable and top quality. Manual fine vocal tuning is one of our top skills as well, and we take care of mastering.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That's a quick job that is made by just pressing a couple of buttons, and that we can get miracles from low quality a
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Since 2005, we are a duo of engineers with different specializations. We started very young as passionates and then we made of this passion an awesome full-time job.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Mixing and post production with special effects / magic tricks for hip hop, electronica and "urban" music sub-genres.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: We love creativity and special effects in the mixing stage, always experiment new combinations to keep listener's attention alive and bring a sort of signature to all the mixes I work on. So treating the song like if it were mine.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: We start talking about the direction of the mix, what you have in mind for your music, understanding the main picture of the kind and amount of via reference songs or rough mixes of the same song/project. At the same time we can start with "hands free" on the mix and then shape all the details step by step. We don't stress artists with a limited number of revisions, we just work to make a perfect mix without putting limitations on the process.

A: We can meet every day very good musicians who improve our skills and vision, learning something new from each song you work on

A: Both. One makes the other complete. Ears are the best gear.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Mad scientists.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Electronic music: always consider a sub bass instrument, this is what deliver to your track a professional feel. Be minimal while layering synths to have more power and definition on the final master.
