Endorse Vladimir LehtinenWorking as a mixing/mastering engineer on my project, Vladimir exceeded my boldest expectations. He supported me on every step regarding his professional field and answered my every question. But the most important part was that I didn’t have to tell how to make my music sound the way I wanted it to. Being a musician and an artist himself, Vladimir has a gust of how music should sound like.
Vladimir is a true professional with a huge background and if you somehow stumbled upon Vladimir’s page, I wholeheartedly recommend you to contact him as he might be just the right guy you’re looking for.My band "станет хуже" worked with Vladimir on our debut album. Btw, the project was not so easy. This was a post-metal release with a 1 hour length, live drums, home recorded guitars and bass. We didn't know so much about "how to make it like a grown boys" and Vladimir gave us some good advice about recording, such as re-amping the clean signal of guitars. In such not a "good sound welcome" situation, Vladimir makes a gorgeous mix. Raw trve chunky guitars, tight bass, punchy drums and saturated vox. Big thanks and deserved 5 stars!
Interview with Vladimir Lehtinen
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I'm trying to recreate client's vision according to reference as much accurate as possible, and I'm thinking as a musician. Herewith, my works are not getting close to condition of "transparent mix, that only musician and man of art can understand" and they're able to please a regular listener. You can say that my working style is a golden mean between quality and pleasure.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Terry Date, Eirik "Pytten" Hundvin, Jacob Hansen also Gavin Greenaway and Ennio Morricone.
