I'm an indie pop producer working out of my studio in Hollywood. My influences include Jeremy Zucker, Clairo, and Odesza. I'm signed to Position Music and have had songs land on various Spotify editorials, blogs, FM radio, and sync placements.

Songs that I've produced have accumulated over a million streams to date. I'm a multi-instrumentalist (keys, drums, guitar) with over 10 years of production/mixing experience and my #1 goal is to see your demo through to its fullest potential.

Interview with Bob Li

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I just released a single for my own artist project called Bouquets that got me my first FM radio play ever! It was surreal to listen to the host introduce the song and play the track while I was on my commute and definitely a milestone I'll never forget.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Being able to see someone's creative vision all the way through the way they intended. I love capturing the feeling behind a song through its instrumentation and using that to emphasize the story that the artist wants to tell.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been doing music close to my whole life, and producing/engineering for the past 8 years. I was trained in jazz drums and grew up playing in a bunch of different indie rock bands. After a while I realized I wanted to have the creative freedom that producing gave, so I made the switch. After a few years of teaching myself to produce I enrolled and graduated from the production school Icon Collective to further develop my skills. After graduation I began my internship at Killer Instinct Studios where I worked for some of the biggest artists in the world (Future, Polo G, Rae Sremmurd). During this time I was mentored by the head engineer Joey Casias in mixing, mastering, and recording. After a year, I decided to make the leap and start my own independent studio where I work now. Since then I've been hired by artists big and small to help with their song creation process, most notably Sean Combs aka P. Diddy!
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Nostalgic melodies and chords that are groove centric.

A: It's not about how it sounds, it's about how it feels.
