My music melds storytelling and a childlike exploration of the bizarre with a mission to connect people. In 2017, I wrote lyrics for "The Crown Sleeps" a song featured in the Angelina Jolie produced animated film "The Breadwinner", a film created by twice Academy Award nominated animation studio Cartoon Saloon.

I am versatile, easy to work with, and I am not afraid to try new things and experiment. I am a classically trained composer and violinist who fell into songwriting after graduating from college. Recently, my interests have shifted towards film, theater, and performance art.

Violin is my primary instrument. I often perform with electronics and I am heavily influenced by Warren Ellis, Godspeed! You Black Emperor, and Laurie Anderson. In addition, I am capable of performing classical, jazz, and folk. When I compose for film, I often play guitar (electric and acoustic), bass, piano, rhodes, synths, and I sing. Some of my work has been recording in other studios, but often I record in my own private studio.

As a songwriter, my lyrics and music are based in storytelling. I am influenced by Nick Cave, Nick Drake, Tom Waits, and many others. My songs sound diverse, but are often based in folk with experimental elements. Recently, I've begun to experiment with the avante garde spoken word of Laurie Anderson and Robert Ashley.

My training in composition has given me a useful skill set in orchestration and arranging. I have arranged/composed for orchestra, strings, woodwinds, and an eclectic variety of other instruments. I will often record full string sections on my own, but am willing to assemble ensembles of any size to match the sound that you desire.
