Menef is an independent musician and producer based in Prague, renowned for his collaborations with artists, singers, and songwriters from across the globe. As a co-founder and active member of the metal band Demimonde, the psytrance live act Mutant Star, and the trap/future bass project Mela Hive, Menef's diverse musical ventures span genres and scenes.

Mutant Star, launched in 2000 by members of the Demimonde Alliance, a Prague-based collective of underground artists from the ‘90s, gained widespread recognition with its dark, rock-infused debut album. This groundbreaking work charted in the Czech Republic and established the project as a cornerstone of the psytrance scene. Inspired by the Goa trance movement of the ‘90s, Mutant Star evolved the genre with its unique sound, making it a favorite at psytrance events.

Today, Menef devotes his energy to creating melodic electronic music that transcends boundaries. His repertoire spans Trap, Future Bass, Pop, Drum and Bass, Breakbeat, Psychedelic, and Goa Trance, blending innovation with genre-defying artistry. More at home in the studio than on stage, Menef crafts immersive soundscapes that resonate with audiences worldwide, pushing the limits of electronic music.
