It was a total pleasure working with Naomi. She has a phenomenal voice (obviously), and she wrote some awesome melodies as well. Most importantly, she was incredibly kind and easy to collaborate with. Only good things to say about her!
Naomi is a star! I will definitely work with her again in the future. What she does to your music is way beyond expectations!
100% recommend, go ahead and work with her until you can!
Naomi has an amazing voice, but that goes without saying. Her creativity and passion that is what really elevates her to another level as a multi-talented artist. I couldn't ask for a better experience thanks to her.
Naomi is great. She is nice to deal with, gracious and honorable...a rare trait these days. And, she has a beautiful voice.
One of the best artist which i had a chance to work with. Very talented vocalist and great songwriter. Was a big pleasure for me to work with Naomi! Her voice is just brilliant.
I've known Naomi for a while now and she is hands down one of the best songwriters/ vocalists I know, as an artist/producer/singer she understands every aspect and nails everything she comes across, from Melodies to lyrics down to a hi hat. Very reliable
Niomi has great instincts. She knows innately how to capture the true essence of what is needed in a song to communicate the truth.
She was easy to work with and most of all listened to what I was looking for, which is why she was able to deliver so well. She was easy and exciting to work with.
Naomi Wild is unlike any other artist I've encountered. I'm continuosly blown away by her talent and the unadulterated passion she puts into her music. Not only can the woman sing her writing skills are phenomenal! Keep your eyes open for the up and coming Naomi Wild, as she is destined to leave her mark on the music industry.
Naomi Wild is a grade A songwriter, she has blessed my team with a couple great written pieces. I can honestly say that you won't regret working with someone so musically inclined as her. Would definitely reccomend to anyone looking to take their music to the next level!
In my career I have written and worked with some of the all time greats! Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Rod Temperton, Salt n Pepa, Faith Evans to name a few! Naomi Wild is INCREDIBLE! She is real to the core and an extraordinary writer! Working and writing with her was truly inspiring!!! She will be one of the top writers in this business hands down!! 100!
Naomi is one of the easiest songwriters I have ever worked with. Super talented and a pleasure to collaborate with.
WOW! Naomi's voice is so ridiculously pure and versatile, she can sing on virtually anything and make it sound amazing. Working with her is always such a pleasure because of how professional and respectful she is, sending her incredibly written demos back in a timely manner. Her unique writing style is not to be trifled with, and there is no doubt in my mind that she is a rising star.
Naomi Wild is one of the most talented and creative songwriters of this up & coming generation. Not only does she have incredible writing skills, she's an amazing singer with a very unique sound.
Interview with NAOMI WILD
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: to always put my best work into every record.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: getting to work with so many talented artists and learning from them. also being able to see my personal progress.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: I work best when i have 2-3 reference tracks. It will be much easier for me to get the style you want this way.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been singing since I was about five years old with my dad, Bill Quateman, who was signed to RCA. I started really pursuing music in college when i was about nineteen, dropped out and am now doing music full-time. in total, i'd say i've been songwriting for about two and a half years.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My personal style lyrically has hints of hip hop, I like to say things i would normally in every day conversation- my opinion is it always sounds more natural that way. Melodically however, i like to be more electronic/alternative. With overall production, i like to mix hip hop with electronic elements.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First I'll play the track on repeat and voice note any initial melodies that come to mind (usually a chord progression and drums is easiest to get the initial idea) then I'll start with lyrics, usually verses first, then pre chorus, then hook. Once the writing process is done, I can record the lead vocal, then add a separate track for doubles etc/BV/harmony/ad libs.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I track my vocals using ableton live.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Anderson Paak, Amy Winehouse, Etta Bond, Disclosure, Odesza, Kendrick Lamar
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I wrote and sang a single that will be coming out later this year with one of my favorite electronic duos.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'll be realizing my first single June 1st, 2017, followed by a few other singles and an EP.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: The biggest misconception about what I do is that I will never stick to writing one genre of music.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Anderson Paak, for every reason.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: loading a groove on drums and randomizing velocity for a more realistic sound.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I love to jump around between genres. Electronic influenced production is my favorite, but i also love alternative and more urban records as well. Anything from indiepop to hip hop.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Lyricism and cadence. Also being extremely flexible lyrically depending on the vocal style and genre of the record.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I like the element of surprise, I don't like being able to predict lyrics to a song. But i still like to convey messages that are relatable and catchy. I like a song that you can sing along to, but you don't know all the words just by listening once.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Songwriting and recording demos.
