Gino Calantoni

Seasoned Male Vocalist

Gino Calantoni on SoundBetter

Bluesy, funky, jazzy, rockin'...this is the wheelhouse. I fronted the local Chicago band FUSION for over 5 years. We recorded a full length album. Loved by critics and fans alike, it stands as a pillar of music brimming with true Chicago authenticity. When we were not able to secure our spot in rock stardom, we each went our own way. I moved to LA!

My range begins at C2 and maxes out at about E5. The blues I gravitate towards is usually of the funkier kind. My music as a whole always reflects a light at the end of the tunnel no matter how deep I delve. I love singing and I have chosen it as my career path. As a musical performer, I will give you the best I have. I have a pretty solid work ethic. I'm still learning my way around Logic so were you to choose me, please bear that in mind. I am loaded with a catalogue of original rock tunes with themes addressing a determination to take care of business as well as being at peace. I consider myself a cool mofo. I've sustained a decent standard of living as a carpenter so some of that soul and character will likely reverberate into projects. I play the harmonica also which I've received much kudos throughout the years for. My lyrical content can be proverbial, straightforward, and even...wait for it...fun...ha. Thanks for getting this far!
