Mix Engineer - Producer - Craft beer drinker
Recording is important, but the process once your song is done being recorded is even more important. Hundreds of perfectly tracked songs have been ruined by a poor mix, poor editing or poor vocal tuning. After living with a song for so long it is nearly essential to have another set of ears to listen to your song and have an unbiased opinion on the performance and mix decisions made in the song. That is the exact service I offer. My goal when editing, tuning, and mixing is to listen to the song with not only the artist's vision in mind but also the end listener's expectations for sound quality. Do the artist's vision and emotion translate well enough through the song? Do the sonic characteristics match those of similar artists in the genre? Those are the questions I answer with my mixes and the reason that artist always finds great success in trusting me with their music.

Interview with Josh Bonanno
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop. Organic singer-songwriter, alternative.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a fresh set of ears and skills to manipulate sounds in a way that will let the song speak in its most natural and honest form.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a humble yet inspiring setup. I am very driven by the vibe of the room, so before I even worried about gear, I made sure the atmosphere in the room lined up with the vibe and feel of the mixes I hoped to achieve. After that, the gear helped too!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mixing. I make sure your previously recorded music sounds as good as humanly possible when it hits the listeners ears!
