Great work!
Sardi has been my mix engineer for years, and I cut most of my vocals with him at Blendworks. He’s very professional and easy to work with in the studio - this speaks to his personality and character.
His mixes are where he really shines. He is extremely attentive to detail, and puts a lot of care and thought into his work. He has a tangible passion for music, and a tenacious drive to continually advance his craft - these are the most fun and effective qualities in someone you’re working with, in my opinion. He’s also always timely with responses and revisions. 11/10 recommend! If you’ve landed here looking for a PROPER engineer, Sardi is your guy. Working with Sardi is the ideal situation you want to put yourself in as a recording artist. First off, his Studio has everything you need in it (his tool box is full), it is a peaceful and inviting setting, that is very clean as well. Second - he knows how to use his tools, Sardi is the real deal. He’s put the years in and can see it in his knowledge behind the board and hear it in his results. He can help you as much as you need with a song, always chiming in with great ideas when asked. It’s a 10/10 every time.

Since day 1, Danny’s ability to expand and create has allowed me the space to explore and get to know myself as an artist creatively. His ability to add to the vision if not alter it into something more coherent is unmatched, I recommend EVERYONE who is looking for QUALITY work to go to Danny. His focus/due diligence is unmatched, his professionalism is respected upon (especially as a female artist) & his dedication to the art/skillset is outstanding.
Started working with Sardi over a year ago. He is a class act. Sardi constantly offers insightful advice on how to improve a song/vocal takes. He isn't afraid to push for extra effort to get the best take out of the artist. His studio has a great vibe and he accommodates any of his visitors very well. Outside of me being overly satisfied with the songs and mixes I've done with Sardi, I'm even more pleased to have built a relationship with such a great dude. Recording, let’s not forget that his work flow allows a vocalist to find fluidity in the record/punch/retake process because he’s extremely familiar with his equipment and its capabilities. It’s been a pleasure to work with & learn from himOne of the best behind the board! Sardi is an Indie Artists’ secret weapon. Once I started working with Sardi I noticed a change in the way I viewed my own sound. The elevation was noticeable immediately. Once you’re able to get in with him, you’ll see how easy it is to flow and work. He offers great advice when asked and will be truthful. If you’re still reading, book him!! You deserve the plug.
Danny is by far one of the greatest mix engineers I’ve ever worked with. He cares so much about my records it feels like he had part of the production process. Danny is never late on turnaround times and never complains about the time it takes to make sure the mix is at perfection to my liking and that I leave a happy client. I loved working by with Sardi for the past 5 years. It’s been a 10/10 on every single mix he’s done for me, and I’ve never looked back. He’ll even listen to reference songs of how you want the song to sound like, and make it sound even better. If you’re still thinking about contacting him, now is the time to do it.

Interview with Danny Sardi
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: LEAVE HEADROOM!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Being located in NY, I most often work with hip hop and r&b artists.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I own and operate out of my own studio in Bushwick Brooklyn (IG: @BlendWorks.nyc) i have a meticulously tuned control room where i do all of my mixing. I mix in the box with huge selection of plugins included tons of UAD dsp and plugins. 3 sets of monitors.( Eve sc307 3way monitors, focal cms65, auratone mixcubes) My studio also has a custom build 4 foot x 6 foot iso booth with a 4 input mic panel. A nice selection of dynamic and condensor microphones including a neumann u87. For mic pres I have an ouboard 1073 and an apollo 8p.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: When finished recording a song i like to have time to sit with the artist and shape the tone of the song. Start introducing what effects would best suit the style of record and build a solid rough mix. This helps me when doing a full mix because I know what the client wants out of the record. I then take that general direction from the rough mix and polish, create, and embellish on it until the song is showcasing its greatest potential. Professional radio quality.
