Jorm here! My goal is to make your tracks sound professional. I write catchy melodies and chord progressions and produce them to commercial standards in whichever style you like.
I have almost 10 years of experience from producing dance/EDM and pop music and have done song-writing and full production for a large number of musicians and their labels. I also have experience with indie, trap, dancehall et.c.
I can either make you a track from scratch or build a track around your vocals. I deliver mastered and unmastered versions of the track as well as ALL the stems for the project!
I'm very interested to hear where you want to go with your project and how I can help you reach your goals.
Typical turnaround: 1-4 days

Amazing guy and talent! My initial plan was to hire Jorm for just one track, but it's so addictive working him that I keep coming back for more (4 tracks so far, and counting...) He's also very generous in terms of sharing ideas and best practices for distribution.
A true pro in every sense!

It was a pleasure to work with Jorm!
Since the first conversations he gave me his honest input and understood my vision very clearly. Throughout the project he was very communicative and speedy, but also very patient with me when I had some setbacks. I'm very grateful and very happy with the song we created and I would recommend anyone who wants to make a pop/dance banger to hire Jorm. I'm looking forward to working with him in the future, he is very talented. - check_circleVerified

Interview with Jorm Sandström
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I am very proud of a remix I produced of "California Dreaming" that got great support on spotify. Right now it's at about 2,5 million streams reaching 36k plays a day.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Right now I am working with a EDM/Dance music lable producing pop and house tunes.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I know many singers on Soundbetter that I really like. For example zohara, she is awesome!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I love the warm sound of analog synths. However I think that today we have great digital emulators of the analog sound.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That I will listen very carefully to what they want and what vision they have before I start. Then I will work until I have those results.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love the variety of work and that I can work from my home studio. I never get bored and I happily work 7 days a week. I also love to see the clients reach their goals.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: If I can do a "test mix" for free. Since that is not allowed I tell the clients that they don't have to worry since I always work until the client is happy with the results and I always provide a free revision. Usually I also show the progress of my work so that the client have every chance to make sure we are moving in the right direction.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Some people have this idea that producing/writing music is super easy and fast. In reality it can take alot of time and usually you have to try out a few ideas before you get it right. When a client hires me for example I have usually gone through a few ideas before finally deciding to use the best one, and that can take some time.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: The questions mentioned above. Vision for the song? Song demo? Reference tracks? Other requests?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Make sure the provider understands your vision. Describe your idea and send them a demo if you have one. Also send them reference tracks of how you want the final product to sound. That way you can be sure that they understand what you need and you will get the best result. I always ask my clients these types of questions so I know exactly what they want.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, Sennheiser HD650, Komplete Audio 6, KRK Rokit 8, MAGNI 2
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been producing music for 10 years. It started out just for fun but became more serius after I started getting label releases and started getting payed for my songs.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Melodic dance music. I try to make every song memorable with a hook part that's almost always melodic. I love blending live instruments with electronic sounds.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: NOTD. Their sound design is really creative.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Take breaks and come back with fresh ears. That way you evoid getting so used to the song that you miss the bigger picture. Also, use reference tracks to make sure the sound and mix compares to industry standard quality.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work on everything from pop to edm to trap and hiphop. For the most part I produce pop and dance music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Chord and melody writing.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I make the song radio ready.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I usually ask the client some more questions to get a better understanding of what they are looking for. The working process is totally depending on the customers need.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work in Fl Studio and use more plugins then I can keep track on haha. I am a really big fan of waves, fabfilter and kontakt.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am really inspired with dance music acts like Joel Corry, David Guetta and Topic but I also listen to alot of pop production and I really like that field aswell.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually talk more to the client to find out exactly what he or she is looking for. Then I produce the song and give them a demo before I send the final product.
