Honestly, the fastest, most thorough producer I know. Pays attention to the small details that most people miss to make sure the sound comes out perfectly. Will definitely use again

We hired Corey as the producer to create a jingle and custom score for our fashion commercial. He wrote the lyrics and created the track. He is very talented from the lyric writing to the end mix. The end result exceeded our expectations. He is a great communicator and blew our deadline out of the water by delivering the final version quickly.
We highly recommend working with Corey, you will not be disappointed. We look forward to working with him again in the future!
Interview with Corey Michael Music
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Mickey Shiloh and Jazelle Paris. They are two of my best friends and also two of the MOST talented and hard-working people that I have ever known!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Most of the music I work on usually falls into the genres of Hip-Hop and Pop, but I'm very experienced in working on just about any genre of music. Along with Hip-Hop and Pop, I also work very extensively with EDM and Alternative music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skills as a music producers and songwriter are production (beat making), mixing, and melodies.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring many different and important things to a song, but the most important thing I feel I bring to a song is top tier experience. I have worked with some of the biggest producers, songwriters and artists that the music industry has to offer and over the course of a few years I have learned tons of valuable skills and information through my experiences on how to make a song GREAT!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: My biggest piece of advice for any music creator out there is to always take the necessary time to perfect a song as much as you can. Some songs happen in five minutes, while other songs may happen in five days or longer. Every single song is a different case and we must always be willing to approach every song with an open mind and be willing to do whatever it takes to get a song to the point where we as creators are completely satisfied with it, and also the listeners!
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My work process depends on exactly what the client wants. I'm very versatile in regards to working processes. Not every song begins or ends in the same way, so I treat every song that I get to work on accordingly. In my opinion, the best process is whatever yields the best results for the song!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio set up is pretty basic, but also extremely effective. I have a Blue Bottle mic, running through a UAD apollo twin interface and Neive clone MKII pre-amp. For monitors I use Yamaha HS8s.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Some of my biggest inspirations in music are Kanye West, Timbaland, Max Martin, Quincy Jones and many more. This list could go on forever! But those are the names that first came to mind because of their levels of greatness.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common work that I do for my clients is mostly production (beat making) and mixing. But I can also record demo vocals, tune and align vocals as well.
