All guitar tracks are recorded in Pro Tools. I use a mixture of analog pedals and high quality digital plug-ins. I pride myself on my sound, focusing on clarity while adding textures for character. My go-to guitars are my vintage 1987 Gibson Les Paul for a warm full sound and my two Fender Stratocasters for a more bright punchy sound. My acoustic is a beautiful Eastman AC-DR 2, which as a very warm and dark sound. All stems are delivered wet and dry and clearly labeled for convenience.

The way Sheldon interprets music isn't like I have ever seen. I'm super picky, but I always give him creative freedom (without sample songs, etc), because I know he would blow my mind with how his mind interprets my song. He is a super talented dude and a great producer. It typically takes him a little more time to get work done because of how busy he gets, but he always comes back with a banger. He is yet to disappoint on a project we've worked on. I'll definitely work with Sheldon again.

A: Guitar! My favorite instrument and weapon of choice
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: My biggest influences for recording guitar include Nile Rodgers, Charlie Handsom, Tomi Martin and Paul Jackson Jr. to name a few. For creating parts I studied a lot of classic R&B records by bands like the Isley Brothers and Tony Toni Tone. I came up listening to classic rock as well so guitar virtuosos such as Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Slash and Jimmy Page had a big effect on me as well.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: My most common requests include recording guitar on top of a produced track and creating loop packs.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Making great music with great people. I love meeting new clients who are passionate about what they do and helping them bring their visions to life.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Keep things simple. Utilizing space allows the song to breathe and makes it easier for the listener to both digest and retain.
