Hello, my name is Sérgio. I specialize in remote sessions and offer amazing-sounding percussion tracks, acoustic drums and programmed drums at affordable prices, let's talk a little about your project. The brazilian sauce is guaranteed!
I'm a session drummer/percussionist and currently live in São Paulo, Brazil. I've toured all over the country and recorded several regional artists from the most varied genres, from hiphop to samba. These experiences brought me a rich technical and intellectual knowledge, enough to make me a flexible and intuitive musician and professional.
I offer quality recorded custom drum and percussion tracks. I have a wide variety of percussive instruments, with sounds from all over the world, as well as three drum kits of different sizes and materials, as well as electronic devices, such as the MPC 1000 Akai that I use to record the programmed drums. I can travel and play in the most diverse styles, with comfort and content. From genres with more percussive characteristics such as Latin and Afro Brazilian music, to the grooves of Drum'Bass.
The price of recordings is stipulated according to the number of instruments used and the length of the track. The prices described in the profile are approximate and negotiable.

Interview with BAZZA
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Today, in addition to the music production work I do in my home, I work as a drummer and percussionist at Wiro studio in São Paulo, recording everything from samba, funk, soul, jazz, afrobeat, salsa, hip hop. and pop music. As a drummer I am touring with composer Gabriel Martins, presenting his latest album "Mergulho". As a percussionist, I'm releasing an album with Big Pacha, a psychedelic funk band, as well as playing in the regional band Bloco Banda ou Coisa Parecida, with a completely carnival setlist. I'm also part of the instrumental hip hop project called Racco, doing the beats, arrangements and co-productions.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I highly recommend the work of producer Enrico Manzano, and bassist Nino Nascimento. Both are my friends, both of life and work. They are very creative and insightful.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My typical work process starts with listening to the customer's tracks and with the most effective communication possible to understand the client vision for that production and what he expects from it. From that, I start working on the recording in which I present a preview with three revisions at no cost. I follow the approach "less is more", always seeking to add to the sound of the band. I can play three notes in the whole song, or create massive grooves with a percussive arsenal if the customer so desires.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: In fact, they inspire my joy and good mood every day, beyond the prime motivations of always evolving musically and spiritually. I feel very privileged by the great mentors I had the opportunity to meet during my musical journey. Incredible people like Nene Realcino Lima, André Marques, Bob Wyatt, Sizão Machado, Daniel and Vitor Alcântara and many others who teach at Souza Lima & Berklee College here in São Paulo.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: As a drummer and percussionist, I end up working with a wide range of genres. But undoubtedly the biggest demands are focused on regional Brazilian music and hip hop, both in gigs and recording.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Energy and excellent sound quality.
