Interview with Sean Walker

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm very inspired by a lot of house and dance producers. When I first started producing (around 2009) I was heavily influenced by dance acts such as Cascada. Recently, I have been very impressed by Jonas Blue and Sigala. Kygo, I believe always has very atmospheric and crisp sound in his songs, something I aspire towards.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: It usually ranges from EDM remixes to recreating instrumentals of commercially released tracks for backing track companies. I have been involved in the production process of certain songs e.g. I may add some different hooks and riffs to try and compliment a song I have been sent. Furthermore, I occasionally get sent vocal production work, which involves the use of comping, aligning, pitch correction etc... Most recently, I have been producing a jingle package for a local radio station.
