Authenticity is Key.
I'm a Music Producer, Co-Writer, Multi-Instrumentalist who believes that every artist, has his own song to sing. Growing up playing in different kind of bands, allowed me to develop my skills of a Producer and of a Music Director. The last couple of years, I studied at Berklee Online while I was working on different projects. I am specialised, in catching the Artist's vision, and helping him developing and creating the song he intended.
I have experience working with local & international Artists and would be able to any country in Europe if needed.

Benji has a very dynamic approach on how he works. He will quickly adapt to different circumstances and will always be on top on how the song's melody flows. He is very professional and his main intention is always to satisfy his customers. It was a pleasure working with him
Benji is such an incredible producer & human. He is very easy to work with, and honestly will make your songs sound high quality. I am very happy with the outcome of the last project and will be getting more songs produced, mixed and mastered by him!
Benjamin is an amazing producer! He whipped up an amazing demo and was very creative!
Benjamin was absolutely phenomenal to work with!! I came to him with a vision and he completely brought it to life. I would 100% recommend working with him and I can't wait to do more tracks with him!!
Benjamin is super easy to work with and on top of that he‘s an insane producer! I asked for several beats and he didn’t dissapoint me. Definitely going to work with him again!
Working with Benjamin was super pleasant. I needed a song mixed for a video and he worked very fast and professional, giving me two amazing mixes that i could choose from. He was super friendly and considered all my wishes and inputs. Would definitely work with him again!
Great Guy. Really easy to work with, and he's got the technical and creative brains too. I really appreciate the ideas Benjamin brought into the project, they almost all fit in perfectly with the rest of it. He manages to be professional whilst still being one of the most chill dudes I've ever worked with.
Can only recommend him.
Benjamin was very professional! He listened patiently, offered great suggestions and gave me the best demo ever. Very happy working with him! This was my first experience using his service and it won't be my last. THANK YOU
I got two of Benji’s sountracks and it fitted perfectly to some of the videos I made. I love these tunes and vibes. He is a great guy to work with and he helped me if I needed to do slight modifications to a track to fit the video.
Interview with Benjamin Alasu
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I worked with Jamie Muscat a couple of years ago, when I lived in Sydney, Australia. He's a phenomenal mixing engineer and I would definitely recommend him, to anyone looking for a Mixing & Mastering Engineer. Also Nicolas M. is an amazing Artist and singer. I worked with him a couple of months ago and it was a huge pleasure creating a song for him.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: A project I'm very proud of, is still in the making. Hopefully we can release this song, very very soon! :)
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Most of my costumers ask, if I can produce a track for an already written song for them. And my answer is: Of course I can! :)
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What are you looking for specifically? What's your Vision for this project? What's the deadline?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: You are in control of your project and of your Vision. My job is to help you in any way possible, but I are the captain of this ship.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been doing music my whole life. I got my first experience from playing in different bands and projects. When I got older I realised I would love to be a producer and songwriter to help Artists write their songs and record them! Now I'm doing this for almost 5 years on a semi professional basis.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is Pop. But not that Pop from the 90's. I love the new vibe of Pop Music, with some dark and mellow elements, mixed up with cool electronic beats. Pop now a days is a mixture of more genres, and I love that!
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Ha, there would be many. But right now my favourite would be Charlie Puth. He is a musical genius! And he combines musical cleverness with commercial music, which is crazy smart.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on Pop Music. In the past I worked on some Electronic Ambient projects and Film Music, but now my focus is only Pop.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm developing different artists in different countries. At the same time I'm growing my catalog.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: The centerpiece is my UAD Apollo Twin interface. I love it becaus I'm travelling a lot. I do record all the vocals with a VMS-ML 1. This microphone is a total game changer in the time of digital music production. I love to work with my analog synthesizer (Juno 60 & Prophet 6) to give my records more character.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Benny Blanco, Ian Kirkpatrick, Ross Golan, Lauv, Oak Felder, Timbaland, OZ
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: You can do beautiful things with both.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: The song is not finished, until my clients are happy.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Creating music, meeting new people.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Being a classical Piano Player
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, Midi-Keyboard, Guitar, Audio Interface, Microphone
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't be scared to try out new things. Just do it.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I am a teamplayer! I feel like I am successful, when my client is happy I accomplished to bring out the best of him.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I'm always looking for what is needed in the song. I never want to show of my skills. Serving the song is my first rule!
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: In general I prepare 2-3 ideas for my clients. If they like one of them, we start working together, to finish the song.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most of my clients have a song in their heart, but don't know how to create the sounds and all the production part of that. So while I'm helping them to write the song I also catch the good moments, to create the song they've had in their mind.
