A: I've worked on a track which has been played millions times on one of the biggest electronic music label ever...
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Serious records for myself !
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Hmmm No ! Just amazing clients around ! Thanks to all of you guys.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital, because You can already do amazing stuff.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To do the best I can for his/her project.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: House music is for what I wake up every morning.. Easy !
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: What did you produce before ? I can't answer about that mostly because it's a confidential process but I can tell that I've worked for the biggest labels of the industry.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Hmmm.... I don't know !
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What's your project ? What you wanna do with this song ? Why do you need that song ?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Let's have a chill chat and if we feel comfortable, I'll be super happy to make cool songs together. I'm here to help you to grow, that's why i'm doing it ! Passion before everything !
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Macbook Pro with Ableton Live Suite, Yamaha HS7 Monitors, My Minilogue and a drum !
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been doing DJ and producer/remixer since 15 years... Touring the world and enjoying producing for me but also for other artists to lift up carreers !
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style ? If we are talking about clothes, all black everything ! Haha If we speak about music, I always think that electronic music is made to make the girls dance.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Camelphat, Prydz, Steve Angello as they are artists which inspired me a lot during my carreer.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Put a vocoder on any synths or sounds... You'll be impressed !
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: House Music Only.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I think I've got a pretty good ear for mixing stuff and also drums as I've played drums for 20 years.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Inspiration and creative process.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Starting from bassline to FX... Depends a lot on the needs of my clients.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Yamaha HS7 monitors, Apollo Soundcard, Korg Minilogue, Ableton live and bunch on vst/vsti gems.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: As I'm a very eclectic person, I'm getting inspired by all kind of artists from Supertramp to Camelphat thru Kanye West or even Chopin.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Full session (one day) to deliver a demo for the client in order for him to record vocal or find a guideline he need for a targeted project.
