Hi, I'm Marcel, I primarily write and arrange for orchestral instruments. I work with any size group, from string quartets to full orchestras and everything in between. I program extremely realistic renditions that will take your track to the next level or record "real" players live, delivering professional level, mix-ready stems.
I've worked on countless records, shows, film and TV spots in a wide variety of musical styles. I have extensive experience working with singers and instrumental music alike. The best way that I can help your project is by arranging your music; I can arrange for a string orchestra or a wind ensemble or a big brass group or all of the above, together, and elevate your track. I can also be fully in charge of your track - I can write and record entire compositions for you or fully orchestrate and record your composition.
My prices range from $500 for a small group arrangement to $2000 for a full orchestra arrangement.
My notable credits: I worked with Michael Bublé for over ten years, I've written songs and orchestral arrangements for Jason Mraz, I was the music director for Gretchen Parlato's Grammy nominated "Flor" record, I orchestrated for a full live orchestra for the show American Born Chinese on Disney +.
I'm also a guitarist, I was featured on the TV show "Dexter," I also play 7-string guitar and cavaquinho on the films Rio 2 and Pitch Perfect 3. I play on records with Sergio Mendes and Herb Alpert, I toured the world a few times over with Michael Bublé. I have a bachelor's degree in Ethnomusicology from UCLA.
