  1. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  2. A: I have a friend's place where I sit and work. The studio has Microphones like Neumann u87, AKG C414; UAD Apollo 8 Pre Amp, Genelec 8040B Studio Monitors as far feild and Genelec M020 as near field monitors. The DAW on which I work there is Logic Pro X and I have some liberty of using UAD Plugins which complimentary comes free with UAD Apollo 8 Pre Amp

  3. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  4. A: When I recorded the Foley SFX for Google Maps Advertisement 2017 because I always wanted to know how it's done. For me, It was really a happy moment to be the part of it

  5. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  6. A: Im working on my YouTube Channel "Wah Wah Vibez". We are a group of two guys who post covers and mashups of the songs in Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu. It is our way of doing it

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Both because had it been the analogue era, i wouldn't have been making music on a computer. No doubt, Analogue adds up warmth. But yeah, both of them gives me flexibility to do anything.

  9. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  10. A: About the Budget Mostly, and I tell them that it depends on the amount of work that is needed to be done

  11. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  12. A: There's is a set procedure of approaching it

  14. A: I love working with the Music Director sitting next to me, as to find out what's in his mind regarding the same which helps me build a good mental vibe with the Music Director

  16. A: Ask for stems, In how much time you want it to be done, The budget

  17. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  18. A: Quantity doesn't matter but the Quality does

  19. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  20. A: My Macbook, My Headphones, My Audio Interface, A Dynamic Mic, Midi Keyboard

  21. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  22. A: I've been doing this for almost 3 years from now

  24. A: R&B Funk

  25. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  26. A: A.R. Rahman, because I like the way he puts the divine and peaceful elements into his music which later comes out to be a Masterpiece

  28. A: Take a break, if no flare comes from within you

  29. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  30. A: I'm a huge fan of Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, Dance, EDM, Country and Blues Genres and I work on these types of music.

  31. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  32. A: Mixing Engineering

  33. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  34. A: My profession is very much similar to that of a Chef. As a chef does a full justice by putting the accurate amount of ingredients into his recipe, I do the same thing when it comes to mixing a Song.

  35. Q: What's your typical work process?

  36. A: I take a deep breath, get the feel of the song by listening the stems, Feel whatever that comes from inside. This is the time when i see it objectively and Start doing my work
