Session Bassist

In demand live musician in the greater Austin area with over 20 years of experience. Don't be put off by my virtuosic chops. I'm willing to sit in the pocket and keep it simple and groovy if that is what good taste demands. I love fretless, but I'll just play an plain old p-bass if that's the sound you like. I also do pick playing.

I can provide bass guitar tracks for any song you'd like. Upon request (for an up-charge), I can provide a miked cab track in addition to a DI track (this is especially useful if you want to do some kind of parallel processing like mixing overdriven mids with phat low end). I can come up with the right sound for a variety of genres, including pop, rock, blues, soul, r&b, funk, country, folk, americana, and world music.
