Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Recently I released a EP as an artist myself that was written, produced and mixed in house! The EP is titled Paper Roses.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Currently I am producing and mixing two independent projects that are coming along very nicely. As well being hired into multiple studios to produce and write for major artists.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I would highly recommend Rob W. I met him through a mutual friend and has credits up the wazoo! He has master many songs for me and the artists I work with!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to put all my effort into what I do to help ensure that you put your best foot forward in all your creative endeavors.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: What I like most about my job is that I get the opportunity to help other people achieve their vision they have worked so hard to create.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I tend to ask how soon they are looking for a turnaround, for a few reference songs to get overall vibe they are looking for, etc.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Make sure to ask enough questions and start a relationship with a provider. Communication is super important when to comes to getting the results you are looking for!
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to get the opportunity to work with is Pharrell. His production and songwriting was basically the only thing that was on the radio growing up. I would love to sit and watch him work and soak in as much as possible.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: When producing, I think the sonic relationship between the kick and bass is one of the most important elements of a song.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: The music I work on mostly ranges from Pop, R&B all the way to country!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I have been blessed with the opportunity to sit under some of the best hit makers and those who mixed the same hits. From this who wrote and produced hits likes 'Jealous' by Nick Jonas to 'As Long As You Love Me' by Justin Bieber. I then took my passion to put myself through school and graduated with a degree in the Recording arts and was taught hands on by grammy winners of what it takes to make a song as best as it can possibly be. So what do I bring to a song? Experience, passion and the knowledge to do anything I could possibly think of.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Some musicians and producer that inspire me are those of Timbaland, 40, Decap, Harmony Samuels, Max Martin, etc.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most jobs I get the opportunity to do are mixing & mastering and production. When artists have the budget Songwriting is a a big hit.
