Arabic & Khaleeji Music Producer and Arranger with 20+ years of experience. I specialize in modern Arabic productions, authentic Gulf rhythms, orchestral arrangements, and professional mixing, bringing each song a polished, powerful and distinctive sound.
I’m a professional music producer, arranger and mixing engineer with over 20 years of experience in Arabic and Middle Eastern music. I specialize in Khaleeji and Arabic production, combining authentic rhythms and musical identity with a modern, polished sound.
My work covers full song production, music arrangement, orchestral and cinematic arrangements, Arabic percussion, recording, editing and professional mixing.
Throughout my career, I have worked on productions involving leading Arab artists, including Mohammed Abdu and Abadi Al Johar, as well as albums, national productions, advertising campaigns and major cultural projects in Saudi Arabia.
I understand Arabic melodies, maqamat and Gulf rhythms at a deep musical level, while also working with modern production techniques and international sound standards.
Whether you need a complete Arabic production, a Khaleeji arrangement, an orchestral treatment or a professional mix, my goal is to preserve the identity of your music while delivering a powerful, detailed and release-ready sound.

Interview with Omar Bin Ismail
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I’m currently working on several Arabic and Khaleeji music productions, arrangements, and mixing projects.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I’m still new to the SoundBetter community, so I don’t have a specific recommendation yet.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. Digital gives me speed and flexibility, while analog adds character when the music needs it.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My Mac Studio, Cubase, a good audio interface, studio headphones, and a MIDI keyboard.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: One project I’m especially proud of is my work on Abadi Al Johar’s album, where I contributed as a music arranger and mixing engineer.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I’ll treat your music with the same care and attention I give to my own work.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Turning an idea or melody into something that feels complete and comes to life.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How much will it cost? It depends on the project and what the song needs, so I prefer to understand the work first and quote accordingly.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That music production is just adding sounds. It’s really about creating the right emotion and identity for the song.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What sound are you looking for, and do you have any reference tracks in mind?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Choose someone who understands your musical vision, not just the technical side of production.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I’ll treat your music with the same care and attention I give to my own work.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Modern, musical and distinctive, blending Arabic identity with contemporary production.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Sting, because of his musical depth and his ability to blend different cultures and sounds.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Serve the song, not the tools. Every sound should have a musical purpose.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Arabic and Khaleeji music, pop, cinematic, and modern productions across different styles.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Music arrangement and production, especially turning a melody into a complete, distinctive sound.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A strong musical identity, creative arrangements, and a modern sound while preserving the emotion of the song.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start by understanding the artist’s vision, then build the production around the song while keeping its identity and emotion.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Professional studio setup in Jeddah, equipped for recording, music production, mixing and mastering.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Quincy Jones, Hans Zimmer, Nile Rodgers, and leading Arabic music producers who blend authentic sounds with modern production.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I produce and arrange Arabic and Khaleeji music, from full song production and arrangement to recording, editing, mixing and mastering.
