Mix Engineer

I’m a Grammy-winning mix engineer with 17 years of experience at Metropolis Studios, now focused full-time on mixing. I specialise in vocal-led music, from polished pop and alternative to indie, electronic and singer-songwriter records. My mixes are open, detailed and emotional, always with the song and the artist’s vision at the centre.

I’ve spent the last 17 years working at the highest level of recording and mixing, including 10 years as Chief Engineer at Metropolis Studios. Along the way I’ve worked across a wide range of artists and records, from major-label releases to independent projects, and picked up a Grammy for my recording work.

These days, I’m concentrating on mixing. I love working with artists who care about the details but want their records to feel natural, exciting and emotional rather than overworked.

My approach is pretty simple: the mix should serve the song. I’m there to bring out what’s already great about a record, give the vocals and production the space they need, and make the whole thing translate wherever it’s listened to.

I work mainly across pop, alternative and indie, but I’m comfortable working across most vocal-led genres. Recent work includes Ella Henderson x Breland, DRIIA, Leigh-Anne, Nxdia, Louise Redknapp, Cat Burns and others.
