Weaving together rock, metal, orchestral, and electronic textures with infusions of global traditions, I am a Composer and Ethnomusicologist based in Los Angeles with 100+ shipped music projects across a variety of media.
Salutations!
I’m Austin Eamnarangkool — ethnomusicologist, composer, arranger, and guitarist based in Los Angeles. I’ve shipped music for 100+ projects across a variety of mediums, and have studied under established composers and musicians in the video game, avant-garde, rock, classical, and jazz scenes.
I weave in elements of rock, metal, orchestral, and/or electronic textures, infused with global traditions that inspire me as an ethnomusicologist. I aim to do this whenever applicable and if appropriate.
Though I am proficient in a wide range of musical styles, I aim to become a composer who focuses on the ethical integration of this music, as I believe video games serve as a powerful catalyst for expanding one's (cultural) perspectives.
