Roei Hermon on SoundBetter

Expressive, broadcast-quality trumpet recordings from one of Israel's leading session trumpet players.

Hi, I'm Roei Hermon, trumpeter, producer, composer, and arranger.

I specialize in recording premium-quality trumpet tracks for artists, producers, composers, and film scorers from my professional recording studio.

I was awarded a full scholarship to Berklee College of Music and regularly perform with renowned Israeli singer-songwriter Evyatar Banai. Over the years, I've recorded and performed with numerous artists across a wide range of musical styles.

Whether you need an expressive solo, a tight brass section, jazz improvisation, cinematic trumpet, or commercial horn parts, I deliver broadcast-quality recordings with attention to every musical detail.

As a producer and composer myself, I understand what a production needs and always aim to deliver tracks that fit naturally into the arrangement, making the recording process smooth, efficient, and inspiring.

I’ve had the privilege of featuring Roei’s trumpet on many Med Tone Records releases, and he has always delivered exceptional results. Roei is a gifted, sensitive musician with a beautiful sound. As an experienced producer and sound engineer, he also understands the wider musical picture. His combination of musicianship, creativity, and technical knowledge brings an extra level of professionalism to every project. I highly recommend working with him.

There’s really no adequate way to describe the phenomenon that goes by the name of Roei Hermon.

Some people play the music. Others become it.

    A true hero.

He shows up, plugs in his gear, does the work, and quietly heads home.

    Zero bullshit.

The soul of an old music monk somehow inhabiting a Danish-Jewish spirit in the body of an Israeli guy in his thirties.

He’s genuinely one of a kind.

Please don’t spread the word too much. We’d like to keep a little more of him for ourselves.

Just keep it between the p

Roei Hermon produced my album and it’s honestly hard to overstate how much he brought to it — but if I had to pick one thing that stood out most, it’s his trumpet playing. He has a gorgeous tone and a real sense of phrasing, and he knew exactly when to let a trumpet line breathe versus when to push it forward in the mix. Several of the album’s most memorable moments came directly from lines he improvised or arranged on the spot.

Working with Roie on my album has been an inspiring experience.

He is a remarkable musician who brings extraordinary delicacy, depth, and movement to every note he plays. His sound is soulful and full of warmth—so honest and intimate that you can’t help but be drawn into it.
Beyond his musicianship, Roie is truly unique to work with. He brings a rare sense of stillness and quiet presence into the studio, creating an atmosphere where the music can breathe and unfold naturally.

I had the enormous privilege of having Roei record trumpet on some of my songs.
Apart of the gentle touch and beautiful tone, Roei is honestly the most musical musician I got to know. Amazing sensitivity to the music and people, which you can immediately hear in his playing and his music.

Roei is simply a phenomenal trumpeter. He has an effortlessness to his natural musicality and a great sensitivity to musical aesthetics.
The moment you hit record, you can be sure every note will be amazing.
On top of that, he is a super nice and professional guy—and besides being a top-tier trumpeter, he is also a songwriter, producer, keyboardist, and a singer with a truly unique sound.

Roei is a very unique voice on world stand of the Trumpet. His tone and approach bring something both festive and melancholic. Each choice of tone is so thoughtful it takes me back to Chet Baker and Miles yet with an original twist. I had the pleasure of working with him with Balkan Beat Box and each track he played was pure gold.

I had the pleasure of having Roei record trumpets for one of my songs. He’s one of the most flavorful and creative musicians I’ve known, and had the privilege to work with. Roei is authentically uncompromising, and his influence on my song really added immense depth and a critical atmosphere to the song. His performance became a defining signature of the track.
On top of his incredible musical intuition, his top-tier gear he works with, he is such a pleasant person and it makes the work be joyful and fun.
